Meaning
May Goddess Saraswati protect me: she who is white as jasmine, the moon and a garland of snow, clothed in white, her hands graced by the veena and the boon-giving staff, seated on a white lotus, ever worshipped by Brahma, Vishnu, Shankara and the other gods, and who removes all dullness.
